Description:
Trianthema decandra root is aperients and said to be useful in hepatitis, asthma and suppression of the menses. A decoction of the root-brak is given as aperients. The root, ground up with milk and given internally, is said to be a specific in orchitis.
Traditional Uses: Trianthema decandra has been recognized in different system of traditional medicines for the treatment of diseases and ailments of human beings. It has been known since ancient times for curative properties and has been utilized for treatment of various ailments such as burns and wounds, known for antimicrobial properties many infectious condition and bacterial infections, fever, tooth ache, hepatoprotective, analgesic, anti- inflammatory, antidiabetic and other skin disorders. In the traditional systems of medicine such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani Trianthema decandra Linn., and its species are used for anti- inflammatory, antihyperglycemic, hepatoprotective and antioxidant.

Dosage: At morning empty stomach, take 1 teaspoon (5g) powder mix with honey or boil with water & drink after filter (or) as directed by physician.

Description:
Calamus or Sweet flag has been known for its medicinal value. It originated in Europe but extensively used in Ayurveda, particularly to enhance memory.
Traditional Uses: Calamus powder mixed with ghee is given ritually in India to improve the intellect and speech development. The rhizomes of calamus have been traditionally used medicinally against different ailments like, fever, asthma, bronchitis, cough and mainly for digestive problems such as gas, bloating, colic, and poor digestive function. In Ayurvedic medicine Calamus is an important herb, and is valued as a “rejuvenator” for the brain and nervous system, and as a remedy for digestive disorders.

Dosage: At morning after food, take 1/2 teaspoon (3g) powder mix with water & drink (or) as directed by physician.

Description:
Smilax china L. (China Root) is a perennial climbing deciduous shrub which is widely distributed in Southern China and Southeast Asian countries incliding India.
Traditional Uses: The rhizomes are bitter, acrid, thermogenic, anodyne, anti-inflammatory, digestive, laxative, depurative, diuretic, febrifuge and tonic. It is used in dyspepsia, flatulence, colic, constipation and helminthiasis and useful in skin diseases, leprosy and psoriasis. It is also used for fever, epilepsy, insanity and neuralgia, syphilis, strangury, seminal weakness and general debility. Detoxifies organs, cleanses blood, aids absorption and kills bacteria. It also stimulates digestion, increases urination, protects liver and promotes perspiration. As per Ayurveda literature, the plant is useful against skin disease, pitta, insanity, diarrhea, colic, vata, syphallis, gonorrhea, fever, arthritis, leucorrhoea, impotency and general weakness.
Therapeutic Uses: அதிகழிச்சல் (Diarrhoea), சூலை (Pain), கரப்பான் (Eczema), கிராணி (Chronic Diarrhoea), மாந்தம் (Indigestion), நீரிழிவு (Diabetes), நீர்வேட்கை, பிளவை (Carbuncle), புண் (Ulcer), உப்பிசம் (Abdominal distension), வயிற்றிரைசல் (Burning sensation in the stomach), வெட்டை (Venereal disease).

Description:
Cuminum showed wide range of pharmacological activities viz., antimicrobial, antioxidant, anticancer, hypolipidemic, cardiovascular, central nervous, respiratory, immunological, anti-inflammatory, analgesic antipyretic and many other pharmacological effects. In addition, pharmacological studies further revealed that Cuminum cyminum exerted antimicrobial, insecticidal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant, anticancer, antidiabetic, antiplatelet aggregation, hypotensive, bronchodilatory, immunological, contraceptive, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-osteoporotic, aldose reductase, alpha-glucosidase and tyrosinase inhibitory effects, protective and central nervous effects.
Traditional uses: In traditional medicine, cumin was used to treat hoarseness, jaundice, dyspepsia and diarrhoea. Its seeds were used for stomachic, diuretic, carminative, stimulant, astringent and abortifacient properties.
Therapeutic Uses: அழல் நோய்கள் (Diseases due to deranged pitta Humour), சீதக்கழிச்சல் (Amoebic dysentery), ஈரல் நோய் (Liver disease), கல்லடைப்பு (Renal Calculi), காமாலை, குன்மம் (Painful gastro intestinal disorders with indigestion).
