Wedelia is used as traditional herbal medicines throughout the world and they have been reported to possess hepatoprotective, antipyretic-analgesic, bactericidal, molluscicidal, hypoglycaemic, and antitumour activities, wound healing, and antistress activities.
Traditional Uses: Traditionally, used as medicinal herb in Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani system of medicines. The fruits, leaves and stem are used for the treatment of bites and stings, fever and infection and used in the treatment of kidney dysfunction, cold, wounds and amenorrhea. The leaves are also used for dyeing hair and for promoting their growth of hair.
Dosage: At morning empty stomach take 1 teaspoon (5g) mix with honey or boil with water & drink after filter (or) as directed by physician.
