Description:
Evolvulus alsinoides (Dwarf Morning Glory) is belonging to the family Convolvulaceae. It is a small, hairy, procumbent, perennial herb with a small woody and branched rootstock.
Traditional Uses: Dwarf Morning Glory is being used for the treatment of fever, cough, cold, venereal diseases, bronchitis, biliousness, epilepsy, leucoderma, azoospermia, adenitis, dementia and used to promote to hair growth, improves the complexion and appetite.
Pharmacological Activities: Besides the traditional uses, this medicinal herb is also well-known for various pharmacological activities such as an antioxidant, anti-convulsant, anti-diabetic, nootropic and anxiolytic.
Therapeutic Uses: The entire plant is considered an astringent and useful for treating haemorrhages and as a blood purifier. Flowers of the plant are used for uterine bleeding and internal haemorrhages. A decoction of the herb serves as a source of potent antioxidants that may be used in the prevention of various diseases such as cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

Dosage: At morning empty stomach, take 1 teaspoon (5g) powder mix with honey or boiled with water & drink after filter (or) as directed by physician.
