Rotheca serrata (Blue Fountain Bush) has been used in the indigenous system of medicine since a long time. It is well known Kapha and Vata suppressant medicine. This drug is much frequently used in our classics for the disorders like bronchial asthma, cough, piles, alcoholism, goitre & other adenitis, inguinal hernia and accidental wound.
Therapeutic Uses: அழல் & ஐய நோய் (Diseases due to deranged pitta, kappa Humour), சித்தசுரம், சுரம் / காய்ச்சல் (Fever), சுவாசகாசம், கடுப்பு, நீர்க்கோர்வை (Sinusitis), பீனிசம் (Sinusitis), வெறி (Aggression).
Dosage: At morning empty stomach, take 1/2 teaspoon (2g) powder mix with honey or boiled with water & drink after filter (or) as directed by physician.
